BookGuard

Questions brokers ask first.

BookGuard AI (BookGuard) is software for FX and CFD brokers: it reads a broker's own trading book, on MT5 today (other platforms and systems of record are connected after a connection review), surfaces trading abuse and shows the trades behind every finding. It is run from Nicosia, Cyprus, and a dealing service uses it every working day.

Updated 2 September 2026. The questions we hear on a first call, answered the way we answer them there. What is live and what is on request is on the what it does today page.

What is BookGuard AI?

Software for FX and CFD brokers. It reads your own trading book, on MT5 today, surfaces trading abuse and shows the trades behind every finding. It is run from Nicosia, Cyprus, and a dealing service uses it every working day.

Which platforms does it work with?

MT5 today. If your book sits on another platform or in another system of record, we look at the connection first and tell you plainly whether we can read it.

Does it change anything on my server?

Not by itself. It proposes, a named human confirms. When a named person on your desk confirms a configuration change, the change is applied to a working copy of your server configuration. The path that would write to your live server is gated and switched off.

Is BookGuard AI the book-repair tape, the author service or the book-binding system?

No. Those are unrelated products that happen to share the name. BookGuard AI, at bookguardai.com, is software for FX and CFD brokers. It guards a trading book, the record of a broker's clients' trades.

Doesn't MT5 already let me do this?

MT5 holds the data and lets you query it. It does not know what your desk calls a scalper, which groups were meant to be identical, or what a pattern is costing you. BookGuard carries your desk's own meaning of those things and shows the trades behind each finding. During the pilot we measure what a finding cost you.

We already have a risk manager. Why do we need this?

Then the pilot gives your risk manager a second pair of eyes on the same history. It runs on your past trades first, so you can put what it finds next to what your desk already caught. If there is nothing new, you know that in the first week. Your risk manager keeps every decision. BookGuard surfaces and measures.

How do you connect, and what does it expose?

Through a manager credential that you issue with read scope, locked to our IP address. Nothing is installed on your server and nothing sits in your execution path. The service is hosted in the EU. Your CTO gets the connection detail in writing before you issue anything.

Our data cannot leave the building. What then?

Then the conversation starts with your CTO, not with us. What we read through the credential, where it is held and what we log is set out in writing before any credential exists, and we write nothing back to your server. If the answer is still no, that is a fair answer and we say so.

Can you prove the savings before we commit?

That is how the offer works. We take a baseline when you onboard, measure through a four-week pilot, and put a number in front of you at the end of it. You pay a setup fee, then a discounted pilot for that window, and you decide on the numbers.

What does it cost?

A setup fee, then a discounted pilot for a set window, then a subscription by tier. The price is set against the night-shift you would otherwise staff. The calculator shows the figure on your own numbers.

Who are you?

BookGuard is built by a team with experience in dealing services, big tech and startups. John Antoniou, who founded the dealing service FXadmins and has worked six years across four dealing desks, is the public face. The other co-founder builds the product and is not named publicly. Funders meet the full team in confidence. More on the about page.

Bring the question your reporting cannot answer.

A walkthrough takes half an hour, against a working book. We say on the call what is live and what is planned.
